I Pray For Justice 🙏🏾

I was taken back because George Floyd’s (rip) passing hit home for me and for many others. His wake was held on 6/4/2020 and three months ago my brother was attacked and abused by 6-9 policemen on 3/4/2020. Smh !

Also, on this day (6/9/2020), George Floyd was laid to rest🙏🏾 and also, on this day three months ago (3/9/2020), my family and I went on Fox 5 News to discuss what happened to my brother encountering police brutality. This all just reminds me of how grateful my family and I are that my brother survived police brutality 🙏🏾 He didn’t have to live because like George Floyd, my brother called out for our mother and most importantly God🙏🏾 Thank God for his mercy 🙏🏾🙌🏾

On the news, I mentioned that being more empathic is necessary because this could be someone who is close to them, a family member, a friend, a neighbor, etc. that we, as African Americans are no different from anybody else and that I wouldn’t want for what happened to my brother or worse to happen to anyone else and unfortunately it did even worse Smh ! My heart goes out to the family’s of the victims who encountered and/or died in police custody. ❤️🙏🏾 It’s still traumatizing and hurtful for me and my family of what happened to my brother but I’m glad my mother raised my siblings and I to know our rights ! I’m proud of my brother for applying and knowing his rights even while in police custody ! Let’s all continue to fight for justice for those who need and deserve justice !

We as a human race need to be more empathic towards one another because no one on the face of this earth is better than the other and anything can happen to anyone at any given time. I pray for justice, an end to racism and world peace ! I will forrver be here to defend my brother no matter what ! Justice will be served !🙏🏾 #endpolicebrutality #endracism #blacklivesmatter !
