Jay Z Admits There’s a Problem With Single Parent Households !

Jay Z recently sat on a NFL panel, with Robert Kraft and Van Jones and let me just say , he had A LOT to say about the black community, single parents households and policing ! Jay Z mentioned to the audience that growing up in a single parent house causes people to have an “adverse feeling toward authority” which causes them to tell police “f*ck you” resulting in interactions that “causes people to lose lives.” Hmmmm, sounds like a republican to me ! But anyway, ....

He then went on to say that the “broken family structure ( i.e being raised in a single parent home) impacts police officer families & “hard working” taxpayers who pay for jails.” Now many may not agree and many may find it intricate that Jay Z made this statement especially since he was raised in a single parent household himself !

Now here‘s my take on being raised in a single parent household:

Now I understand what Jay Z is saying, I really do! Because it is a great thing when children are raised with both parents in their lives but it depends on how their parents raise them! I was raised by a single mother who worked very hard to provide for my siblings and I and we turned out just fine ! All of us are educated in the books and most importantly about LIFE !!! We are all well mannered, and have our heads on our shoulders. We never got led astray because of the good VALUES, DISCIPLINE, and a SOLID FOUNDATION that my mother and many other single mothers have raised their kids upon ! We lived by faith that no matter if we grew up in the ghetto we don’t have to be a product of our environment ! We all have respect for police and people of authority as we should respect one another and we don‘t endanger anyone’s lives because we are hard working tax payers as well ! in hindsight, not single parents children are a danger to society !

I know a whole lot of people who grew up with both parents raising them and they turned out to spoiled brats, crackheads, unruly, mentally ill etc. VS. people who were raised by single parents and their kids turned out to be lawyers, doctors, teachers, architects etc. so it doesn’t matter whether or not children are raised by one parent or both parents, it’s all about HOW YOU RAISE THEM !!!! THE VALUES THAT YOU INSTILL WITHIN THEM AND THE SOLID FOUNDATION THEY YOU BUILD THEM UPON !!!!! So to all the single mothers out there, keep taking the best care of your kids because the ones who are obedient and have seen how hard you’ve invested in them will turn out great! Blessing to you all ! At the end of the day, GOD is our only father anyway ! Peace ✌🏾
