I’m glad I gave @dmx his flowers while he was alive 💐🙏🏾If you scroll down my timeline you will see the same picture of him as I welcomed him back home in 2019. I was so happy for him. I looked forward to hearing some great new music from DMX as I always continued and will continue to listen to his classics 🙏🏾

I always told people of how much DMX reminds me of my big brother. It was just like yesterday in the 90s, as children we used to listen to DMX cassette and CDs. We used to blast his music all the time because it gave us great energy and we was glad to see a young black man live out his successful life. My big brother and I spoke for 2 hours today about DMX. We cried in disbelief of DMX’s passing 😞😓We reflected on how great of an artist he was and how he was always so full of energy and spark.

DMX to me was real, talented, a truth teller, humble and full of energy. I love how much of a praying person he was. Every single album he has made he always said a prayer and that’s what I loved most about him. 🙏🏾 DMX taught us back when we were children to keep striving and keep reaching further in life by having faith in God in spite of any pain or conflict. He motivated, uplifted and gave strength to many with his songs as they got thru some difficult times. One thing I never did was judged DMX. I always prayed for him even when he was alive. I always supported him as a fan and believed that he would overcome anything because of his faith in God.

I can’t believe one of my top 2 favorite rappers has passed away😞 Thankful for the great music that he has left us with and the great memories we have had as children growing up In New York. His music touched people’s souls. He music had so much life, energy, and truth. New York will always put on for you. People all around world love and miss you. I’m so glad we got to experience who DMX was especially in his prime. He really made our childhood one we’d never forget. My condolences goes out to his family 🙏🏾 Rest peacefully DMX. 🙏🏾 Never will be forgotten 🙏🏾
